In order to maintain the good performance of the electric tools motor bearing, daily maintenance, testing, overhaul and preventive measures must be done. For long-term operation of equipment, the usual detection and tracking is particularly important, including bearing rotation sound, vibration, temperature, lubricant status, etc.

The noise of the electric tools motor bearing often occurs during the operation of the equipment, which may be the quality problem of the bearing itself, or it may be the cause of other aspects.

Electric tools motor bearing noise in different situations and solutions

1. If the bearing is in a good state of continuous rotation, it will emit a low whine or hum. If there are sharp hissing sounds, squeaking sounds and other irregular sounds, it often indicates that the bearing is in a bad continuous rotation condition. The sharp creaking noise may be caused by improper lubrication. Improper bearing clearance can also cause metallic noise.

2. The dents on the outer ring of the bearing will cause vibration and cause a smooth and crisp sound.

3. If there is intermittent noise, it means the rolling parts may be damaged. This sound occurs when the damaged surface is rolled over, and if there are contaminants in the bearing, it often causes a hissing sound. Severe bearing damage can produce irregular and loud noise.

4. If the knocking scars caused by the installation will also produce noise, this noise will vary with the bearing speed.

A. Large metal noise

Reason 1: Abnormal load

Countermeasure: Study bearing clearance, adjust load, and correct shell shoulder position.

Reason 2: Poor installation

Countermeasure: Processing accuracy of shaft and shell, improve installation accuracy and installation method.

Reason 3: Insufficient or unsuitable lubricant

Countermeasure: Replenish the lubricant and choose the appropriate lubricant.

Reason 4: Rotating parts are in contact

Countermeasure: Modify the contact part of the winding seal.

B. Regular noise

Cause 1: Indentation, rust or scratches on the rolling surface due to foreign objects

Countermeasures: Replace bearings, clean related parts, improve sealing devices, and use clean lubricants.

Reason 2: (After steel carburizing) surface deformation

Countermeasure: Replace the bearing and pay attention to its use.

Cause 3: Stripping of raceway surface

Countermeasure: Replace the bearing.

C. Irregular noise

Reason 1: The clearance is too large

Countermeasures: Study coordination and bearing clearance, and modify the preload.

Reason 2: Foreign body intrusion

Countermeasure: Replace bearing, clean related parts, improve sealing device, use clean lubricant.

Cause 3: Spherical injury and peeling

Countermeasure: Replace the bearing.
